The answer depends on what your aim in life is, what your financial situation is and how motivated are you. If you are a highly self motivated student who thinks he can crack JEE and get an amazing score next year then take a drop. If you think you know what you are passionate about, like which field etc. and if you have already got an admission letter from an amazing University abroad, then go for it.

Hello Mr. Indira Perumal,
The score and the ranks not bad but there are very low or no chances to get admission in NIT Trichy for B.Arch. She can get NIT Hamirpur, and NIT Raipur.
According to previous year's closing and opening ranks, the chances for getting NIT, Trichy are low.

Hello Srishti,
Your score is good in JEE Mains exam for an OBC candidate. You have cleared the exam, but to get admission in NIT, your board exam percentage must be at least 75%. As yours is only 63.8%, you cannot get NITs.
So you can apply for some colleges that admit students with both JEE Mains marks and board exam marks.
All the best.

You required to score more than 75% in your 12th board or be in top 20 percentile to get selected in JEE college.
You may appear for JEE exam on any marks but for getting college you have to be in any one of the avobe category.

Hello Nitish,
With your rank, it looks quite tough to get government college. Even good private college appears out of question in normal course. Your best bet is management quota of private engineering college.
