If you want to study in government college and secure your placement, go for third attempt. Otherwise, if you don't want to waste another year, choose a descent private college.
All the best.

JEE Mains paper is normally of 360 marks. For getting admission in IIT or NIT or IIIT or CFI'S you have to score at least 75% in 12th. However if you are taking admission in colleges in your state then concerned state govt decides how much percentage is required in 12th.

There are state entrance exams conducted by government of the state itself.
So, by clearing them, you can enter in government colleges of the specific state.

As per the notification issued on 1 Dec 16, all seats in Gujrat will be filled via GUJCET. In case of centrally funded Institutions, the entry is through JEE Mains. In special cases, wherein 50% seats in an institute are to be filled up on pan India basis, then these will also be filled via JEE Mains.

You have got quite good marks in your board exams, but less in JEE Mains. With these marks I feel it would be quite tough to get admission anywhere. However, you have the chance of getting admission through management quota.

You have reasonable marks in JEE Mains and BITs entrance. Unfortunately, score in BITs is not taken by another institute. For these you have to apply using JEE Mains score only.

Diploma holders from any institute, who are members of Association of Indian University are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced), therefore, they can apply to appear in JEE Main but rank and score of such students for JEE (Main) are not declared as diploma holders cannot apply for admission in NITs and CFTIs through JEE (Main) channel.
