This is a private engineering college in Mumbai. In Maharashtra all admissions to engineering colleges are through MHT CET. So is the case in this college as well. However, if seats remain vacant then students with rank in JEE Mains will be admitted. I feel if you have a valid rank you will get admission in this category.

I think the students don't have the freedom to choose a domain of their choice at Thapar University, but the percentage of marks shared by you is really impressive. I don't think you'll face any problems while admission.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that at TU the eligibility criteria is that you have to have at lease 60% marks in 10+2 and a minimum of 20% JEE score (at least) then only you are eligible for admission.

Only a few days are left for the exam so no need to suggest any topic. Just revise everything you have studied till now and do well in the exams.
All the best.

Private engineering colleges in Karnataka admit students based on COMEDK. Hence JEE Mains score may not be useful. But then each private college can admit students directly in management quota. You can attempt via this route.

Firstly, admission in engineering colleges in many states is not based on JEE Mains but CET of that state. However, some states do accept JEE Mains score. Then some private colleges like BITS Pilani have their own CET. Minimum marks required in each of these is different. Hence, you first have to decide where you want admission and then seek guidance.
