Hello Asif.as class 9 is the basis for 10th.you study atleast 3 hrs per day.and revision of the study done whole week on weekends.

All IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc take admission through JEE only. Other than this some good private universities too consider JEE scores for admission to engineering courses.

hmmm. let's see there may be a chance if your board percentage is very high and if you have some reservation based on category or homestate like goa or any northeastern states

It depends on the board you are from ; anyways I feel you have a fair chance of getting into NIT'Ss if you don't bother about the branch. I mean you have a chance if you are okay with metallurgy and instrumentation kind of branches

Keerthi, it's on the basis of both. But then there are a particular no.of seats for a particular category.
These days, your JEE score can get you a seat in some of the best private universities. Some of these also offer scholarships on basis of your JEE scores as well as 12th marks.
