Dear student no doubt your JEE SCORE & 12th percentage are very good but criteria for our college admission is purely on Merit Basis so if you are interested do please register till 20th May as it is the last date for B.Tech registration, then all the registered students will be invited for B.Tech counselling which is going to held on 11th & 12th of June and on the counselling day we will prepare two merits one on JEE MAINS Score/Rank & other on 12th PCME percentage. Therefore as you have good score & percentage I suggest you to participate in the counselling as very good chances are there for you.

Every year cut off varies and also it depends on which category you belong. If you are talking about placement NIT trichy have a very good placements and it is ranking number one among all nits and par with many IIT's. So no need to worry about placement.

Hi Dear,
Your JEE Mains score in General Category is a good for NIT. But your board percentage is not sufficient to enable you a smooth admission into NITs. Insted You can prepare well for Advanced or you may get some government colleges in your state.
Hope for the best

Hi Dear,
Your JEE Mains score is 89 and board is 80% in OBC Category. It will be little difficult to get into NITs. You may get a NIT, But not any good branch.
You may also get Government colleges in your state.
Al the best.
