If you are from 'other state' quota. It might be little difficult for you to secure admission in NITT. Go for newer NITs. You have a much better chance there.

With UPTU marks getting branch like instrumentation and control is possible but through JEE-main you can get better branch if 12th marks are considered for evaluating the JEE-main rank otherwise its tough. all the best

Make ur time table acc. 2 this.if u agree.
-give max. Time 2 boards preparation.
-give atleast 2 hrs for jee if u wanna score higher.
-there r many books 4 jee so.choose wisely. And study regularly.
-12th boards r very important. N plays a major role in jee so.study 12th syllabus seriously. Without skiping any thing.
-do practice papers of jee.
This will lead. U 2 a score higher marks n 2 secure a good rank.

hiii sushmitha.u might get admission in MIT as ur jee mains score is really very good.it would have been better if you would have scored still more in ur CBSE also. anyways.All the best:-)
