Yes, go for private colleges amity LPU etc. They will let you in easily just fees is the matter of concern.Or else there is a hope with your board percentage, you can land in some good state level private and govt. colleges of engg. which are good enough to get you placed if you work hard.

JEE is not a course, it is an entrance examination conducted through out the country as a entrance for getting a seat in under graduation in many of the IIT's and NIT's located across the country. Based on JEE performance one can enter into IIT and NIT colleges and choose the department according to their rank secured in the examination.

For opting IIT Bombay you need to clear JEE Advanced and for giving JEE-advanced you need to clear the cutoff. The cutoff was 114/360 in 2014 , 105/360 in 2015 and 100/360 in 2016 also you must have more than 75% in 12th Board all these cutoffs are for General category.

Your score is decent and OBC cutoff may be low. CSE doesn't seem to be 'not achievable'. But if not CSE you can always get into IT if you like coding.

For OBC around 145 is a safe score assuming your board score is decent enough. But this varies every year. So don't loose hope. Try for NITK MECH. you may get it. cheers!
