It would be a tough call to get a seat in NIT but you can wait for the counseling. But I would also recommend you to apply for some other best private institutes also so that you are not in problem at a later stage. You can consider some top colleges to apply. Some suggestions -

Getting in government colleges with this score would be little difficult as their cut-off is little high.There are some premier private institutions that are doing equally good as them .They along with assured placements provides a stage where one can implement technical skills in his projects and research. SAT is accepted by BITS pilani and may be in future few more private universities will start with it. If you are keen to join USA for further studies, you may take SAT in grade 11 beginning as it will be the best time to start process of applying abroad.
