If you have the will you should surely drop this year. Join any reputed coaching institute and study throughout the year sincerely. You will surely get into good college
In my opinion a college is good not because of its infrastructure,Placement ,Teachers but because of the qualities of student studying there. The surrounding environment also matters for success. Therefore I would highly recommend you to drop the year , Get into a good college, Get in the company of good students and color your future brightly, Good luck

Abhishek, I doubt if you will get IIT with these marks, so go whatever college, whether government or private.
Otherwise, try for admission in some private university yourself. They offer you admission on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criteria.
Check the websites of some good universities or call on their toll free no.s for more details.
Good luck.

AIR is calculated only on the basis of JEE Advanced marks. In case of same scores various tie breakers are used. But to get a rank in JEE Advanced, you must pass the cut-off of class 12 and atleast 75%. it is also important to pass the subject wise cut-off in JEE Advanced along with total cut-off to get a rank in JEE Advanced.
