You are eligible to take admission in your state's NIT. Also, you may get admission in other government colleges of your state. So, just wait for the JoSAA counselling.

Sorry to say but you haven't cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So there is no way to get a good college with your score. You may get admission in any private college on the basis of 12th score.

Yes, you have fair chances of getting admission in MNIT, Allahabad as you stay in UP. So, your home state quota will work fine along with your OBC category.

Hello Vishnu,
Your marks are too low to get any branch in any government colleges, so look forward for colleges via other examinations. However, check here for more insights.

Hi,
There are actually no particular marks. There will be a caste wise cut off marks to clear JEE exam. It varies year to year. But in JEE main your score should be at least 200 or above and in JEE Advanced your rank should be at least below 6000 to get a good NIT and IIT.
The most important is you need to have at least 75% in your board exams.

Naveen,
Yes, there is an option of choosing a college by yourself but the college you got is on the basis of closing rank. You can participate in the counselling and then fill the option of college according to your closing rank.
