Yes, you can take the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) even if you have less than 75% in your board exams. However, whether you are eligible for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutes) depends on the following:For appearing in JEE Main: There is no minimum percentage requirement in board exams. With 61 percentile in JEE Mains and belonging to the OBC category, your chances of getting admission into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JoSAA Counselling are quite low, as the cutoff for most branches in these institutions is usually higher.
State Government Colleges – Some state government engineering colleges have lower cutoffs for OBC category candidates. States like MP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, UP, and Haryana.

Hello Yashwanth,
With a 90,000 rank in COMEDK, 96 percentile in IPE, and 67 percentile in JEE Mains, your prospects rely on the competition, seat availability, and reservations by category. Although top institutions under COMEDK can be challenging, you can still get good private engineering colleges with branches like IT, ECE, or Mechanical.
All the very best for all of this !

Hey Shreyas,
It's difficult to balance NEET and JEE for a gap year but is a bit achievable with proper strategy. As NEET has heavy emphasis on Biology whereas JEE is more mathematics-based, a scheduled timetable would be required on your part. Prioritize frequent subjects such as Physics and Chemistry with strong conception building. Invest additional time into mathematics for JEE and invest additional time in Biology for NEET.

Filling out the JAC Delhi counseling form does not affect your JEE Advanced counseling eligibility. You can proceed with both processes simultaneously. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, you must get a minimum qualifying score in JEE Main and meet other conditions. If you are eligible, you can take JEE Advanced counseling, whether you have undergone JAC Delhi counseling or not. Ensure that you satisfy both eligibility requirements in order to increase your chances of being accepted into engineering colleges.

At a 70 percentile in JEE Mains, you are sure to get into some of the colleges for the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) stream, but major colleges like NITs and IITs won't happen. Colleges admitting students at this percentile are Lovely Professional University, Amity University, and Chandigarh University. These colleges generally have a low cutoff and a decent ECE program. It's necessary to be involved in the counseling process to be able to evaluate your options effectively and confirm you comply with any further requirements from the colleges.
