You have completed your graduation with maths. Now, don't be confused. Both the fields you have mentioned are completely different. So, choose the one in which you see your future. If you see yourself as a journalist in future, then go for it. And if you want to be in business related field, then pursue MBA.

If the subject in which you have got compartment was a additional one than there is no barrier for you to apply. But if it was your main subject, you need to clear your compartment with good marks. Otherwise, your admission in the college will not be valid and would be canceled.

You can apply online or may visit the college for registration. There are numerous job opportunities after completion of journalism course. You will be eligible to be a part of print media (newspaper /magazine etc), electronic media (radio /TV) and internet media. There are various options as a reporter, journalist, news reader, anchor, etc.

There is always a cut off that DU pass every year. What is the current status of the cut off is not in my knowledge. However, I think it is above 60%. More you can take help of the college website.

Major programmes in Mass Media and Journalism include M.A. Journalism, M.A. Advertising & Public Relations, MA-Lifestyle & Arts Journalism, M.Sc. Animation & VFX, M.Sc. You may directly pursue Masters in Journalism after your graduation in English. But, many Colleges have different criteria for admission in Masters degree of Journalism. Otherwise, you may pursue directly. Look out for the colleges and their criteria.
