Law Entrance Exam

1- AILET is an exam only for NLU Delhi students. Though it is tougher than CLAT this exam has only relevance for NLU Delhi, as no other NLU or private college accepts AILET scores, whereas CLAT is considered by all NLUs except NLU Delhi. Private colleges also accept CLAT scores.
2- NLSIU was established far earlier than NLUD. Hence, the alumni network is far better. Apart from producing great lawyers, NLSIU also promotes more research and has more prestige at the national as well as international levels. Needless to say, ultimate placements are far better than NLUD. (Though placements at NLUD are also very good.
3- Bangalore is the IT hub of India. Hence, a huge number of companies are there. Hence, opportunities are seamless.
4- Apart from this, the climate in Delhi is extreme. But Bangalore has decent weather and climate. These are the reasons why people choose to be in NLSIU rather than NLUD. I hope this will help you.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) syndicate had removed the descriptive section from the Latin Legum Magister Postgraduate (LL. M. PG) question paper pattern.
The CLAT exam contained 120 objective questions worth 120 points. The same pattern was followed for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 as well.
The Consortium of National Law Universities has published the Common Law Admission Test paper pattern in the official notification.
There is no change in the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam pattern 2023.

Exam pattern for CLAT:
Time duration: 2 hours
Exam mode: Offline mode

The number of questions: CLAT UG: 150 questions and CLAT PG: 120 questions
Total marks: UG CLAT150 marks and CLAT PG120 marks.
Marking scheme: Each correct answer will get 1 mark, while each incorrect answer will receive 0.25 marks.

Admission Procedure:
1- The admissions process will begin right after the declaration of the Common Law Admission Test results.
2- The selection of students will be based on their performance in the CLAT entrance exam.
3- Seats are allotted to students on the basis of the all-India rank they secure.
4- The provisional seat allotment is going to be conducted as per AIR.
5- The selected candidates must submit an amount of INR 50,000 to secure their seats in the college.
6- The admission procedure involves a centralized counseling process, wherein he or she can select the seats according to their preferences among NLUs, NALSAR, WBNUJS, GNLU, etc.

1- National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
2- National Law University, Delhi.
3- Symbiosis Law School, Pune.
4- Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad.
The minimum CLAT cutoff should be 95 to 100 if you want to get admission to one of the top 5 national law universities. To secure admission to one of the National Law Universities, you must score between 80 and 85 on the entrance exam. However, there is no interview process.
CLAT Seat Matrix for 2022:
1- The total number of seats in CLAT 2022 Admission is around 2,175.
2- The AI Seats for UG programs are 1,308.
3- The total number of CLAT seats offered to the state students where the National Law Universities are located is 621.
4- The number of seats available for the special category is 325.

3 Month Study Plan for the CLAT Entrance Exam:
For Month 1:
Day (1-15) Start your preparation with The Hindu Newspaper (continue till the end of the exam), GK (art, literature, economics, environment, geography), Legal (constitutional law, criminal law), and Current Affairs (starting from December). Day (15-30): Complete GK and Legal Aptitude with (History, Science, UN, and International Organizations); Legal (Contract ACT Law of Tort, Legal Maxims). For Month 2:
Day (1-10) Quantitative Aptitude with Basic Maths Age Problems, Averages, Ratios and Proportions, Speed, Distance, and Time; Fractions, Percentages, Profits and Losses; Time and Work; and Simple and Compound Interest. Day (11-20) Verbal Ability with Reading Comprehension, basic grammar, direct and indirect speech, the cloze test, idioms and phrases, Jumbled Paragraphs, Active and passive voice, fill-in-the-blanks sentences filter, error spotting, one-word substitution, sentence improvements. Day (21-30) Logical reasoning with a blood relation Analogies, a direction problem, a logical puzzle, facts, interference, and judgment Syllogism, clock and calendar, Logical deduction, coding and decoding, assertion and reasoning, cause and effect strengthening and weakening arguments, statements, assumptions, and conclusions. For Month 3:
Day (1-15) Start revision and solve previous years' papers; revise GK and legal aptitude, and memorize math formulae. Day (15:30) Practice mock tests, Attempt 1 mock test every 2 days, Analyze the performance in the test, Focus on improving your score in each test; Review all concepts and continue this for the last month.
