The Consortium of NLUs will release the CLAT Second Merit List 2026 on January 22, 2026. The Consortium publishes the CLAT Rank List in the format of opening and closing ranks of each NLUs. Candidates can download the CLAT Merit List 2026 PDF by visiting consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT Cutoff 2026 depends on several factors like the difficulty level of CLAT exam, change in seat intake and matrix, answer key discrepancies etc.

To help candidates understand what was the overall CLAT 2026 Difficulty Level and what are the expected cutoff check the CLAT Exam Analysis. The CLAT Counselling Process 2026 will end with five rounds. It must be noted that the Consortium will release a separate CLAT 2026 Merit List after each round of CLAT counselling. Q: What is CLAT Invite List?

The Consortium of NLUs publish the CLAT Invite List that will carry important details like roll number of the candidates who have scored high enough to be shortlisted the counselling process, their total marks and other details. With this candidates will be able to register for seat allotment in National Law Universities (NLUs) for UG and PG programs.

Q: CLAT 2026 Counselling Process is online or offline?

The CLAT Counselling Process is completely online. Candidates need to register first by uploading their documents, and participate in choice filling and seat allotment. For original document verification aspirants will have to go to thedesignated centres.

Q: What if I am not satisfied with the CLAT seat allotment?

If the candidates is not satisfied with the CLAT seat allotment result, they can either accept or opt for upgradingt the college alloted. The Freeze option is used by candidates to confirm their choice of NLU. Apply for upgrade option is used when candidates want to change the allotted institute to his or her higher choice (upward shifting).

Q: When will CLAT 2026 Counselling be held?

The Consortium of NLUs has begun CLAT Counselling Process 2026. The counselling process of CLAT will be conducted in online mode on the official website of Consortium of NLUs; i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac. The Counselling Process will be held in five rounds.
