Hello!
To become a grade-2 civil judge, the minimum qualification is to have an LL.B. Degree in hand. If that's done, you can appear for the judicial services exams. These exams are conducted by respective high courts of different states to fill the vacancies available. The exams include three stages. You can become a Judicial Officer starting as a Civil Sub-Judge or a Magistrate immediately after your LL.B. 3/5 year programme. You have to compete and qualify the judicial services exam conducted by individual state governments through their public service commissions or high court. Now the major point to be kept in mind is choosing LL.

HI Dear,
3-year law and 5-year law both have different eligibility criteria.
5 years law programme is an integrated programme, which one can proceed just after 12th class whereas 3 years law programme can be pursued only after the graduation. Usually the students who decide on taking up law as career after graduation prefer this programme. Being an education consultant, I would recommend you to go for 5 years integrated LAW programme straight a way from School of law, LPU, in North India. LPU offering law programme which is accredited by BCI is equally good as law courses in all NLU's. All the best.

For B.A. + LL.B. Jagran Lakecity University, School of Law, Bhopal is the best to pursue this course because of the environment and discipline. If you are not from Bhopal then you can avail hostel services and also you will get access to a large number of books to enhance your knowledge. Even teachers are understanding, supportive, and caring. Pursuing B.A. LL.B. Is worth pursuing in JLU.
