According to me, it depends on your interest. If you join a corporate job, though it would be a monotonous but you will start earning after you complete your course. If you are into practice, then you get yo learn various things but in this field you cannot expect for atleast 4-5 years but after that, your life would be settled. Basically, I can tell you about the field but further, it totally depends on your interest.

CLAT is an entrance exam meant for admission in 5 year law course in national law schools. In case, you do not want to apply for this exam, you are ineligible for national law schools. There are many universities other than law schools and each university follows different procedure which is available on their respective web sites.
