Preparing for CLAT with Class 12th is the perfect choice. Surely, it is a bit of a hassle, but if you can do both, then your preparations would be great, because you would get ample amount of time. If you prepare before class 12th, then it's just tedious and not worth it. If you prepare after class 12th, then it is very less time and you cannot complete the syllabus.

Hi Shanmukha,
If you belong to the general category, kindly, check the official website for updates. However, to get into Andhra university your rank should've been more lower. Nevertheless, you can try for other participating colleges by attending the Counselling. Feel free to ping me in case of further queries.
All the best.

Hi Srikanth,
You can't qualify for Osmania because the opening and closing cut off is 88-120 respectively. Better luck next time, keep trying. All the best.

If you want to sit for CLAT and pursue law as your career, then take the humanities subjects like Political Science, Sociology, Economics etc. This really helps you when you prepare for CLAT and the B.A. Syllabus is somewhat similar to what you study in Class 11 and 12 humanities. So, it's a win.

The first thing you need to do after passing out from school is to sit for CLAT if studying in the National Law Schools is your priority but if you just want a Law degree then there are other Law Entrance Exams you can sit for like BLAT, ISAT, SET, AILET. These exams are for admissions in Colleges who are not affiliated to CLAT.
Best of Luck.
