So, if you want to do LLB. You must apply for it and, you could surely do it. You have done your BA from IGNOU which is good, you must apply for it.

As per the UGC guidelines you can choose any one of the course, but if you want to do both then you have choice of doing it from two different universities.

Hi,
The admission criteria for LLB from Law College Dhanbad is as under :- A student after passing the graduation examination of Vinoba Bhave University or any other corresponding degree examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Vinoba Bhave University with at least 45 percent of marks in case of general category applicants and 40 percent marks in case of SC/ST applicants in the aggregate shall be eligible for admission to LL.B. Part-I course. Further the fee is about Rs 28000/ per year.

Hi,
Doing LLB through distance education is not recognized by Bar council of India. Only a person who has completed his full time LLB is recognized to be eligible to practice law in India.

Distance learning course isn't enough to practice law in India. As per the Bar Council of Indias guidelines, one need to have a law degree to practice law in India. One of the prerequisite to practice in any state is to have a regular course law degree. Law course pursued through a distance learning is only for knowledge sake. Through distance learning, one can understand law, but cannot practice. Such courses are offered for people interested in understanding law. Yes, some university takes the admission based on 12th marks and some conduct entrance exam for admission and some college prefer both entrance exam and 12th board marks for admission.

1.Admission is strictly on merit basis.
