Hi,
Yes, you can take admission in 3 years LL.B. Course without having to appear for entrance exam. There are colleges who offer admission on the merit basis. LL.B. Is a 3 years long course which has started to be replaced by B.A. LL.B. Course which is 5 years long. Most colleges these days are preferring to offer B.A. LL.B. Course to the candidates which can be taken after completing 12th standard. It is mandatory to appear for entrance exam for B.A. LL.B. Course. The name of entrance exam is CLAT. Eligibility Criteria of BBA LL.B. In Ambedkar University :
1. A candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognised by the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai and should have secured not less than 70% of the total marks in the aggregate of all the subjects.
2. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities should have secured not less than 60% of the total marks in the aggregate of all subjects.

BCI does not allow studying law part time if you want to become a lawyer. For that, you are supposed to pursue a 5 year or 3 year LL.B. Course. However, otherwise, you can very much learn law part time, through correspondence courses or online.

Placement of this university are not that bad but not that good also. Overall, the placement is average if you will prepare hard then you can get placement.
