Candidates will need digital copies of all documents for Jindal School of Languages and Literature BA (Hons) admission. The following documents will be needed to apply for admissions at Jindal School of Languages and Literature: 

  • Passing certificate and marksheets for Class 10 and Class 12 
  • Entrance exam scorecard
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Two Passport-size photograph

Yes, the personal interview round will be held in online mode for selected candidates for the BA (Hons) course. The O.P. Jindal Global University has its own platform to conduct all interviews for admission purposes.

Candidates will be provided with the necessary credentials to join for the interview on the scheduled date and time. The Jindal School of Languages and Literature will send an email containing the same to all selected candidates.

The official website of JSLL shows the accomodation fees which is INR 9.24 lakh. Since no other fee type resembles the hostel fees therefore it is being assumed that the accomodation fees is the hostel fees charged by JSLL. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the website of the institute.

The fees for the BA (Hons) course at JSLL is a combination of tuition fees, other allied service charged, accomodation fees and security deposit. All of this combined results in a total course fees of INR 28.74 lakh. This fees will be charged on per annum basis at INR 7.06 Lacs per annum at JSLL.

The Jindal School of Languages and Literature at O.P. Jindal Global University (Sonepat) offers a four-year UG English Hons. Program for a fee of INR 4,00,000 per year. The school provides residential benefits for students for INR 3,56,000 per year.

The bifurcation should thus be changed accordingly.

JSLL courses' admissions are based on entrance exam scores + PI. The university also accepts CUET scores for BA (Hons.) English courses. The selection criteria for the BA course are based on Application form evaluation including personal statement + Online entrance test/Score of listed National or International entrance test + PI (online interview), and CUET/JSAT/SAT India/ACT/UGAT/LSAT-India.

It depends on how UPPSC interprets your B.Com (Hons). If English was your main or Hons. subject during B.Com (which is rare), then you're safe. Otherwise, your MA in English and B.Ed with English should be enough in most cases, but it's best to check the official UPPSC TGT notification or contact them directly for clarification.

Yes, both English Literature and Psychology courses are available at St. Xavier's College. Specifically, St. Xavier's College offers a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with various combinations, including those with English Literature and Psychology.
