Regular attendance is typically required for M.A. English Literature courses at most universities, including Madurai Kamaraj University (MKBU). The university’s policy has that students must have 75% of attendance in each course for appearing for the examination. I would still recommend checking MKBU’s specific attendance policy for the M.A. English Literature program, as it may vary. Yes, Samaldas Arts College does offer a Master of Arts [MA] programme and English Literature is one of the specializations. However, I would recommend checking the college’s official website or contacting them directly for the most accurate and up to date information as they may have added new coursed which u might be interested on, I hope this helps.

The Jindal School of Languages and Literature (JSLL) at OP Jindal Global University offers a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) with a specialisation in English. The BA (Hons.) English (Language and Literature) programme is the only course offered by the JSLL.
The total tuition fee for the BA (Hons.) course at Jindal Global University starts at INR 9 Lakhs. This does not include charges other than tuition fees.

The entrance exam scores of CUET/JSAT/SAT India are considered for admission to B.A. at JSLL. A total number of 30 seats are offered for this course. The total tuition fee for the whole course is about INR 9 Lakhs.
The eligibility criteria for admission to this college is
- A candidate must have passed class 12th. The candidate can be of any stream.
- The candidate must have a valid CUET/JSAT/SAT score.

For B.A. in English Honours, the highest package was INR 12 LPA
And the lowest package was INR 4 LPA
The highest package offered at the Jindal School of Languages and Literature (JSLL) is reportedly INR 1 crore, overall.

Attaining an undergraduate degree at Ashoka University comes with a price tag exceeding Rs 27 Lakhs, while at Jindal University, the cost ranges from Rs 3 Lakhs to Rs 6.5 lakhs.
JSLL only provides one course for B.A., while Ashoka University provides 11 specializations for B.A. Ashoka University seems to have a better placement record than JSLL.
