After NIFT Situation Test, NIFT prepares a final merit list based on the weighted average of GAT, CAT, and Situation Test and Interview scores. Qualified candidates are then invited for counselling.

NID Studio Test and Interview will be conducted on different days. NID will conduct Studio Test on March 08, 2026 for M.Des and Interview from March 21, 2026 to April 01, 2026 for M.Des. The Admit card will be the same for both.

The aspiring candidate is required to register for the BCom LLB programme at Ramaiah College of Law. After this, the eligible candidate is intimated about the RCL Admission Test and the Personal Interview. Even if the candidate has scored the threshold score in CLAT and is exempted from the RCL Admission Test due to this reason, it is still mandatory to have a telephonic interview to complete the selection process for admission and secure a seat at the college.

Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Bangalore conducts personal interview to select candidates for admission. Aspirants selected based on their SET scores are called for a PI round. The centre considers entrance exam scores and performance of candidates in PI round for final admission. Out of the total, 30% weightage is given to PI round in admission.

Selections are merit-based but there might be a personal interview for final selection. However, this is generic selection process for merit-based admissions and it might change.
