My first cousin did MBA from LPU. Initially, she had confusion about whether she should join LPU or not because she had qualified CAT that too with a good percentile. She could easily get seats in any good elite B-school, but she chooses LPU after talking to her senior who had completed MBA from LPU and placed in a top-ranking MNC and that too on a lucrative package. She was worried about reviews but then Her senior told her that If you ask someone who was not eligible for in-campus placements will say that placements or college is not good and the person will find faults in everything.
