Magadh University offers a full-time M.A. Course under 20 specializations for duration of 2-years. Admission to the programme is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Application forms for M.A. Admission 2022 will be released in the month of June 2022 on the official website of the University.

See. the college issues 3 cutoff lists for students coming from 3 different boards (in the General Category).
For English Hons. the cutoffs range from 94% and above for students coming from the WBBHSE (Cutoffs fluctuate a lot, mind you).
For CBSE students the cutoffs are the highest definitely above 96%
Even ISC graduates need to score above 96% in order to be able to make it to college.

Eligibility Criteria
It is the policy of the Nagaland University to offer equal educational opportunities to all qualified persons, provided the following conditions are fulfilled by the applicant.
Eligible students for Major streams (internally or externally) will be given preference over General stream.
An applicant must have passed a three-year Degree Course with Honours/Major with 50% marks and for General stream students of Arts, Commerce and science with 55% in the concerned subject in which admission is sought.
5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category will be considered.
Applicants who have graduated from Colleges (Private/Govt./Aut

Again it all depends upon your interests well if you are certainly interested in pursuing M.A. In English then you can continue with your decision nothing is stopping from what you're doing if that is what you like because you have to do what you like as said by my English teacher who completed B.Sc. And then completed her M.A. In English because she found that is what she liked.
