If you have completed Masters in the English with 63% marks, you can prepare for the UGC NET Exam. Yes, the NET Exam would provide you a very good opportunity to make career in the lectureship and Research programme. The NET Exam is mainly conducted in the month of June and December. Hello, If you aspire to make career through Ph.D. programme. You have a very good option to prepare for the UGC NET Exam. The NET Exam is conducted every year in the month of June and December. There is no age limit to appear in the NET Exam but to get the Stipend of INR 25000 per month you need to qualify the NET JRF Exam. By the help of the UGC Score Card, you can apply in any University and college of India for lectureship and Research programme.

After BA in Public Policy, I feel the best option for you would be public administration or HR. There are other courses too. Let me tell that good career depends not on what you have studied but on how much hard work you are willing to put up. All degrees are good only for perhaps first job then it's your reputation.
