Candidates applying for the PG course need to pay the course application fee. An application is submitted successfully on payment of application fee amount. For the MDes programme at UID Ahmedabad, the application fee varies depending on the category of candidates:
- General Category (Indian and Foreign candidates): The application fee is INR 2,000. Candidates in this category have the option to apply online or offline. The application window opens in August.
- NRI/NRI Spons./Mgmt. Category: Candidates in this category are required to pay an application fee of INR 3,000, and the application process is exclusively online. They can apply durin

Maharashtra Institute of Technology Institute of Design offers three years MDes programme across eleven specialisation. MDes is the flagship course of the Institution. Candidates are required to appear in the MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test) to get into MDes programme. A valid score in MIT DAT followed by personal interview and studio test. As there is no facility for direct admission to the Institution, so candidates wont't be able to get into MIT ID without MIT DAT.

MIT Institute of Design is a private institution which started operating in 2006. Over the last decades, MIT ID established a healthy relationship with national and global organizations who regularly offer internships, sponsored projects and placement opportunities for the students. Google, Goodrej, Samsung, etc. are the partnershiped company. PLacement ranges from the highest INR 27 lakh, Average INR 8 Lacs and minimum INR 5lakh.

MIT Institute of Design offers three years MDes programme under fourteen specialisation. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in the specific specialisation which is required to apply for the MDes specialisation they want to pursue. For example: candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine/ Applied Arts, Visual Comunnication, Media etc. in order to apply in MDes in Graphic and Animation Design. Yes, the university accepts CEED score for admission to Rishihood University MDes course. Candidates who did not appear or qualify CEED, can apply for RSAT. Rishihood Scholarship and Admission Test score is also considered for admission to MDes. The shortlisted candidates are then further called for a personal interview round. Selected aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

In case there are any vacant seats in a particular discipline it will be transferred to other discipline where wating list is more. The seat intake for BDes and MDes programmes is mentioned in the table below:

MDes is the Postdergrauate level flagship programme offered by the MIT Institute of Design. MDes is offered in various specialisation. MDes admission process includes university level entrance exam i.e. MIT DAT (Design Aptitute test). First step is to complete the eligble criteria (Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design) next filling the application form of MIT DAT and scoring a minimum required score in the test. And finally appearing for the Studio test and the personal interview, which finalises the selection process of the course.
