NID Gandhinagar MDes course admission is a multi-step process. The admission procedure begins with the exam online registration and ends with the final seat allotment and fee payment along with physical document verification. The admission stages are also explained below for the candidates reference:

STEP 1: In the first step, candidates need to complete the NID exam application form. The applications are accepted by the institute in online mode.

STEP 2: Candidates who applied successfully need to appear for the NID DAT entrance test. The national-level examination is conducted across 22 cities in India.

STEP 3: The results are declared after the exam is conducted successfully. NID may list cutoff list as well with the minimum score required for MDes admission. 

STEP 4: Candidates with a score equal to or more than the cutoff are allotted provisional offer letters. These candidates can then take part in counselling/seat allotment procedure.

STEP 5: In the last step of the admission procedure, subsequent allotment rounds are carried out by the institute. After the seats are allotted, candidates are asked to pay the full course fees. Then the selected candidates will have to report at the respective NID campus for the physical verification of documents.

For admission to MDes at IIITDM Kancheepuram, candidates are required to upload below mentioned documents with the online application form:

• Recent colour photograph 
• Scanned copy of your signature
• Scanned copy of your degree certificate (pdf) if the course is completed.
• Scanned copy of your Higher Secondary Certificate (pdf)
• Scanned copy of your birth certificate, or proof of date of birth (school leaving certificate or Class 10 certificate) (pdf)
• Scanned copy of experience certificate, if applicable (pdf)
• Candidates who are applying in the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category have to upload a valid category certificate (pdf) issued by the appropriate authorities. The format of the OBC-NCL certificate is in
  Annexure B. OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after April 01, of the admission year, will be accepted.
• Candidates who are applying in the PwD category should upload a valid medical certificate issued by the appropriate authority as per Annexure C (pdf).

TDV Noida admissions to MDes courses is entrance-based. Apart from the candidates exam score, it is also necessary that the aspirants fulfil the eligibility requirements. The step-by-step Design Village admission process for MDes is mentioned below:

STEP 1: Candidates seeking admission can apply through its official website. Candidates can visit the TDV official website to apply. 

STEP 2: In the next step, applicants have to appear for the TDV entrance examination. The entrance examination includes writing, sketching, and model-making. After the test, selected candidates also have to appear for an interview round for final selection.

STEP 3: After the selection rounds, results are announced by the Design Village. The selected students then have to admission fee for seat confirmation.
