You stand a strong chance of being admitted to Osmania University's M.Sc. Biotechnology programme because you are in the BC-B category and have a rank of 455 in CPGET 2024. Your chances of being admitted are higher in the BC-B category because it usually has a lower cutoff than the General category. Rankings in this range have historically been accommodated by Osmania University for a variety of programs, particularly for specialised courses like Biotechnology. The amount of applications and total entrance exam results, however, may affect the precise number of seats available and the cutoff for your particular category each year. It i

Both the M.Sc. in Microbiology and the B.Sc. in Biotechnology at MITS School of Biotechnology provide excellent career possibilities in terms of placement, while the M.Sc. in Microbiology typically has an advantage in terms of higher-level work opportunities and specialised roles. Postgraduate degrees in microbiology, such as an M.Sc. in Microbiology, are typically preferred by employers in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, food processing, and research industries for positions involving microbiological testing, quality assurance, and research. B.Sc. Biotechnology graduates may receive slightly lesser packages, ranging from INR 3 to INR

With an MSc in Biotechnology, you can apply for the UGC NET in Environmental Science or the CSIR NET in Life Sciences, as these are relevant to your field. Rank 491 in M.Sc. Biotechnology can be quite decent, but whether it is "good" or not depends upon for which college you are aiming.

As far as the last rank for M.Sc. Biotechnology in CPGET 2024 is concerned, it changes every year because certain criteria come into action such as a number of applicants, seat factor, and category-wise reservations among others. The last rank cutoff may also vary for different colleges affiliated under CPGET.

For an accurate trend, it is always better to refer to the official cutoff list published by universities or to the admission office of colleges concerned. They can further provide detailed information
