Well, that depends on the University and the course that you are pursuing. Different universities have different cut-offs. What you have to do is fix a course. Once that is done, check which University offers that course. The details can be obtained by Googling and the information regarding the cutoffs will be obtained in the respective websites of the universities.

MS is much better nowadays if done from institutions like IISc, ISER or abroad. Then comes MBA and BDS. MBA after B.Tech is good for higher package careers.

It's a tough query that you have raised. There are no easy answers. Actually there will be as many opinions as asked. This is an area where perceptions play an important part. I would like to advise you to have a different approach. First decide to which country you want to go. Then select university. Then, methodically fulfill all criteria and admission would be a simple affair.

Lovely Professional University, Phagwara can be the good option for you. LPU offers M.Sc. In Physics and Math, M.Sc-IT and CS (Two years full time programs) and the B.E/B.Tech students can also be apply there.
