Just eight companies were the top WCC recruiters.
Women's Christian College, Chennai, arranges a number of seminars and placement cell programs for career guidance in addition to inviting reputable companies for campus recruitment.
IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Google, HCL, Taj, Tech Mahindra, Fitness One, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, Zoho, IBM, Wipro, ITC, TATA, and many more are among the top employers at the college.
Numerous businesses in a variety of sectors have expressed interest in employing WCC graduates. Information technology (IT), banking and finance, consulting, media and communications, healthcare, and hospitality are a few industries that frequently hire WCC graduates.
1) Stella (Girls Only), Cathedral Road is the best branch in BCom at WCC. Its got to be at top in anybody's list.
2) MOP Vaishanav (Girls only), Thousand lights/Uttam gandhi Salai - As good as Stella. Should be in top 5 of anybody's list.
3) Ethiraj (Girls Only), Egmore- Again in top 5 for girls only
4) WCC (Girls only), College Road- I would keep it on par with Stella and MOP. You see same level of competition for seats, yet it's everyone's second or third choice for some reason . Top 5 in anybody's list
4) DG Vaishnav college (Co-ed), Arumbakkam- Only reason I would rank this below all others is it's location and plenty of parents would prefer a girls only college over a co-ed.
5) Madras Christian College (MCC), Tambaram (Co-ed)- Probably has the best campus out of the lot . Why isn't in top 5 of my pick . same reason as DG vaishnav.
There are plenty of good colleges all cross the city . Above list are autonomous and self regulated, hence are preferred . Then there are alot of private colleges in far flung areas of city like SRM . I wouldn't recommend someone there.
