It is a 2 years long Post Graduate Level programme. The 2 years duration is divided into 4 semesters, with each semester lasting a period of 6 months. During each semester, students will have to face separate sets of theoretical subjects as well as practical sessions associated with those subjects. Yes, you can proceed for oceanography after having done your BA in geography, but I am not sure about Marine Biology.
