Yes, you can do so. There are different universities like Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education, Guntur, Directorate of Distance Education, Madurai Kamaraj University etc. Which provide M.Sc. In botany through distance learning.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Masters degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. ). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. It may be noted minimum percentage required to meet UGC NET eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD categories is 50%. M.Sc. In which field? Eligibility criteria :- JNU will conduct the common entrance test for the different programmes by December 2018. Candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in any branch of Basic or Applied Sciences under 10+2+3 education pattern from school/ Institute/ University as recognised at state or national level. Candidates need to have secured at least 55 percent marks in aggregate of subjects of qualifying degree examination.
