UGC NET is the national level which is conducted to examine the eligibility of candidates required for holding the position of Lecturers/professors/ associates/ research fellows at India's reputed universities. You can take UGC NET exam in the subject in which you have done post graduation. As you have done your Masters' in Zoology, I suggest you that apply for CSIR NET not for UGC NET.
