The cut-off for IIT JAM Chemistry 2017 is:
General category: 25
OBC category: 23
SC/PWD/ST category: 15
On this basis, you should prepare for 50 marks & you will get 35-40 marks. Your selection will depend on the cut-off.
Well, if you will prepare for 50 marks, you will definitely get selected.

There are two modes for admission in M.Sc (Physics) at Hindu College, Delhi University:
(A) Eligibility for entrance mode admission: Candidate must have completed B.Sc (Hons) in Physics from any recognized university with 50% aggregate and 50% in Physics or a candidate must have completed B.Sc in Physics, B.Sc (Hons) in Electronics or Bachelor in Applied Science with Honors in instrumentation/electronics from any recognized university (in 10+2+3 scheme of examination) with 60% aggregate and 60% in Physics. Or Any Science or Engineering graduate with Physics and Mathematics in graduation with 60% aggregate and 60% in Physics.

The eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc in marine science programme at Goa University is that a candidate must have completed Bachelor of Science from Goa University or an examination of any other university recognized equivalent thereto with at least seven units of 100 marks each
in the first, second and third year taken together in any of the following subjects: microbiology, botany, zoology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and earth sciences. If you meet the stated criteria then only you are eligible to seek admission in M.Sc in marine science.
