This is because top universities are located in US, good brand name, job opportunities, etc. In the context of jobs, the US is a bigger economy and has more jobs. I believe any subject can get easy if you have an interest in it. During your course curriculum, you'll get to learn many amazing facts about Physics which makes the field even more interesting. However, some subjects under the course such as Quantum Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, etc., can be frightening sometimes, it takes dedication and time to grasp them.
