To study the M Tech in Mechanical Engineering course, you must have at least 55% marks in BTech Mechanical Engineering or a related field and clear relevant entrance tests like GATE, Andhra Pradesh PGECET, CEETA PG, etc. to grab a seat at a decent college in India.
The eligibility requirements usually differ on the basis of the college where you're planning to pursue the course. For instance, the top IITs ask you to have at least 60% marks in your bachelor's degree, and the IIT BTech graduates with an 8 CGPA or above can even apply without the GATE exam score. The MTech Mechanical Engineering course has a general time span of 2 years. The coursework is spread out into 4 semesters of six months each that includes theory classes and practical learning via laboratory work and projects. For MTech admission at Abhilashi University, candidates must have BTech degree with 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in the respective branch of engineering. Yes, candidates can join Christ Kengeri Campus M.Tech course without any entrance exam. However, candidates must participate in the selection process. The Christ University Kengeri Campus M.Tech selection process is inclusive of Skill Assessment (SA), Micro Presentation (MP), and Personal interview (PI). For the SA, the applicants will be given a topic to write. Further, for the MP round candidate should be able to talk for 90 seconds, on a topic given by the panel.
