If you want to get admission to Microelectronics course at the PG level, you need to clear relevant entrance exams like the GATE exam, which is one of the most competitive engineering exams for postgraduate courses. Further, several colleges also take their own entrance tests for MTech admissions like BITS HD conducted by BITS Pilani.
You should get excellent marks in the exam as the competition is quite high for colleges like the IITs and NITs where the cutoffs are difficult to meet. Best wishes!

GATE CSE is considered the most demanding branch in GATE M.Tech admissions. Due to high competition, the cutoff is usually high in top-ranked institutes. 80+ marks, out of 100, is the safe score in GATE computer Science and information technology. Candidates can get admissions to top IITs and NITs with this score.
