At the time of the NIELIT Calicut M.Tech comparison with other similar colleges/ institutes, firstly, candidates should consider their concerns about which they want to compare the courses and colleges. For example, if the candidate is more considerate of the affordability of the course, they should compare the courses on the basis of the fee structure of the colleges' M.Tech courses. In the same way, the colleges/institutes can be compared on these parameters:
- Faculty
- Admission Process
- Location
- Seats
- Specialisations, and many more.

Yes, NIELIT Calicut follows a seat reservation for the M.Tech course. The reservations shall be as per the existing government rules. Moreover, the seats are reserved for SC/ ST categories, and in each specialsiations, five seats are reserved for the sponsored category candidates. Moreover, admission shall normally be restricted to those with a valid GATE score, and seats shall be filled based on GATE score merit. However, this stipulation is relaxed in the case of sponsored candidates.
