Well, yes. There are university-level exams conducted every year for admission to MTech courses like SRMJEEE (PG) for admission to SRM Institute of Science and Technology, VITMEE for admission to Vellore Institute of Technology, BITS HD for getting a seat at BITS Pilani, IPU CET for GGSIPU admission, and CUCET for Chandigarh University.
This is a generic list of a few important exams for admission M.Tech colleges in India. You can go to the college websites of your desired colleges to see if they take individual entrance exams and then prepare accordingly. Best wishes.

To be eligible for the M.Tech programme at KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur, candidates must generally have a Bachelor's degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in a relevant field of engineering or technology from an AICTE, Central, or State Government-approved institution. Students must secure a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying examination (45% for reserved categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and PwD category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State).
