• The college offers a lot of placement assistance. There are various companies visiting the college to recruit the students, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, DELL, and many others. The average package offered in this course is INR 4 lakh.
• Placements are provided almost to everyone in top companies. The average salary package ranges from 22 LPA to 90 LPA. Students are recruited by Microsoft, Dell, Infosys, and many other big companies. Data scientist, digital marketer, and cybersecurity expert are the roles offered.
• Almost 75% of students get placed. In my course, 60% of the students got internships, and some of them went for higher studies. The average salary was about INR 4 lakh, and INR 8 Lacs was the highest salary offered for my course. Students are placed in Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM from our college.

• SMIT provides students with good academics and has a notable ranking in the north-east. It is the 2nd best college in the East zone with great placement opportunities in very well-known companies. 
• From my batch, around 8-10 people were placed, but it was because many people wanted to pursue higher education, and very few companies came with a good job role.
