Any career in India which is niche, which has power and lot of indirect earning, is very elite and reserved for few. Entry is not so easy and journalism is one of such area. It depends what kind of journalist you want to be. The tertiary area where you just need to write reports or kind of such as business article or a correspondent, you can get it relatively easy if you want a cream area where you have access to bureaucrats, government and business houses. It depends that from where you complete your post graduation from such as Indian Institute of Management and Communication, Jamia Milia Islamia, Asian College, etc.

A better option is doing post-graduate in mass communication or public relations from institutes like Jamia Milia, Indian Institute of Mass Communication and Xavier's where you have good teaching quality and placements.
