Non-thesis Masters degrees (also referred to as taught, professional, or course-based Masters) are delivered through a series of lectures and seminars and assessed based on course-work, projects, and exams. For example, In many universities, non-thesis students also have the opportunity to develop some research skills when working on a research paper, a project or a capstone (please note: not all non-thesis Masters programs have a project or capstone). A thesis Masters degree is research intensive. Students enrolling in this type of programme are expected to develop a research proposal and complete a thesis under the close supervision of a faculty member at the university. The length required differs by university, with some going over 50 pages. Although the thesis Masters does include some coursework, the classes are mainly focused on theory and research methods, and students spend most of their time reading, collecting data, analyzing results, and writing a thesis. A thesis Masters degree is more suitable for you if:

3. You enjoy writing and reading a lot.
4. You enjoy working independently
5. You would like to prepare Yourself for a career in research and development (R&D) and/or academia. A non-thesis Masters degree is more suitable for you if:
1. You enjoy learning about a wide range of topics within your field of interest
2. You enjoy attending and participating in courses and lectures
3. You enjoy group work and projects, rather than writing
4. You have a career goal in mind and you want to develop a specific set of skills for it
5. You are more comfortable applying what others have researched and tested.

It is a 2 years long Post Graduate Level programme. The 2 years duration is divided into 4 semesters, with each semester lasting a period of 6 months. During each semester, students will have to face separate sets of theoretical subjects as well as practical sessions associated with those subjects. Apart from theoretical subjects and practical sessions, seminars and Research work/project also plays an important role in M.Sc. Agriculture programme. Based on choice of subjects, students may specialize in disciplines within the sector of Agriculture Science. M.Sc. IT- BASIC COURSE DETAILS
It is a 2 years long Post Graduate Degree programme. During these 2 years, students are given both theoretical as well as practical knowledge on the field of IT (Information Technology). Like in B.Sc. Important topics covered in M.Sc. IT also revolves around Information Technology, Programming, Database Management, Project Management, OS, Information Security, Software Engineering, E-Governance concepts etc. But I must say that the course material is much more advanced, when compared to B.Sc IT programme.
