Actually, the best courses for ECE background is MS Electrical Engineering, MS Electrical and Computer Engineering only. You may opt for Master of Engineering (Telecommunication and Network Engineering). My interest is more on the management side, so I am consulting The Chopras for a professional opinion. You can refer them for the choice of courses and country.

You can always pursue your Masters in mechanical engineering from University in Germany. In fact, almost all Nations across Europe are providing Red Carpet for the students of other Nations to come and study in there colleges and Universities. Of course, there are some restrictions and some entrance exams somewhere you have to clear and pass. These are the nuances in the whole process which one must understand. In view of this, I would strongly advise you to go to an agency which deals with sending students for post graduation in engineering abroad and particularly in Germany for success in your attempt.

It is a post graduate diploma this means a prospective student has to be graduate in any field of studies to become eligible for this course. Now if you are an engineering graduate you also become eligible for this course, however if you have only a diploma in Engineering then you are not eligible. In this case you need to obtain a graduation degree from any recognised university before you become eligible.
