Yes, you can apply for UGC NET exam, if your Diploma/degree/certificate from a foreign university is equivalent to a Masters degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. But to appear for the exam, you need to score minimum 55% aggregate marks (For General) or 50% aggregate marks (For OBC/SC/ST/PwD) in post-graduation. Hello, you should have completed Bachelors in mechanical related courses with more than 65 percent. You will have to appear for IELTS or TOEFL and also for GRE exam. Though German language is not mandatory but it would be good if you complete German A1 level.
