Top institutes for MBA in HR are TISS, XLRI and IIMs. Yes it is a good decision to opt for HR. If you have prior experience of working with NGOs or any other social activities than TISS is the best institute. Other known institutes are XLRI, SCMHRD, MDI, IIM-Kolkata, SIBM and XISS. The choice of stream is purely based on your interests. You don't need to be extremely good with numbers to be an analyst on finance. But once you get admission in any college, you will go through basics of each subject. Then you can choose.
