Both LPU and Chandigarh University offer solid MBA programs, but LPU often stands out because of its industry‑aligned curriculum, practical exposure through internships and live projects, and active placement support. LPU's emphasis on soft skills, workshops, and industry interactions gives students a more career‑ready edge. If your goal is real‑world learning and broader exposure alongside the degree, LPU is a strong choice.

Honestly, the hostel rooms in the new GIBS campus are pretty spacious. It's not that “tight hostel vibe” you usually imagine. You can keep your stuff, move around, and not feel suffocated.
And the common areas are big enough for everyone to chill — whether it's group study, gossip, or just scrolling reels with friends. Plus, because the new campus has a lot of greenery around, it feels nicer to just sit and relax there instead of being stuck in the room.
I'd say the overall vibe is comfortable and open, nothing cramped, nothing dull. Just the kind of space you'd actually enjoy living in.

you absolutely can get a scholarship at GIBS based on your MAT score. It's not like only CAT scores matter here. A good MAT score can help you get a decent scholarship, and I've seen friends get 50k–75k or similar support because of their MAT performance.
The way I felt about it is nice — GIBS doesn't just look at one exam and shut the door if you don't have a super high percentile. They consider your MAT score, academics, interview vibe, and overall profile. So if you score well in MAT and back it up with a confident interview, you're honestly in a good spot for scholarship.
