  • Identify your career path. Determine what industries or roles you see yourself in after graduation. Some MBAs focus on finance, others on marketing, and some on general management.
  • Evaluate your current position. Consider if you want to advance within your current industry or pi

Yes, besides regular entrance-based admissions, admission can be secured through the management quota as well. Entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, and state-level tests are accepted under the regular merit-based process. There are limited seats available under the management quota, and this is governed by a separate fee structure and selection criteria. Candidates will still need to qualify according to the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute: minimum academic percentage, interview performance, etc. The management quota is ideal for students who want direct admission and, at the same time

Yes, GIBS does have a management quota or direct admission, but the eligibility criteria like minimum 50% marks in graduation is applicable.
Other than the fact that less weight is given to the entrance exam scores, the major difference from the regular merit-based process is that admission is more based on the candidate's academic profile, interest in the program, and performance in the GD/PI rounds.
The regular process places strong emphasis on the scores obtained in national/state entrance exams, while the management quota offers a more flexible pathway to get a seat for the eligible students.
