Choosing Global Institute of Business Studies Bangalore over other colleges is mainly helpful if you want a college that focuses on “how you become” more than just “what you study.
- I chose GIBS because classes are not only lectures, they involve regular presentations and speaking activities, so you naturally become more confident over time
- Faculty don't behave like strict classroom teachers only, they interact more like mentors and guide you personally when you are weak in communication or academics
- From the beginning, students are pushed to participate in group discussions and stage activities, so even shy students start open

The percentile needed for admission would depend on the category you belong to. JAGSoM accepts various entrance examinations for admission to the MBA/PGDM course, like CAT, XAT, MAT, etc.
As per the estimated XAT cutoff in 2026, a percentile of 70 would be good enough to secure a chance at admission for the management course. For the CAT and MAT exams, 75 percentile was the final cutoff.
Note - The cutoff is not official; it is an estimate.
