MBA - Master of Business Administration is a 2-3 year management program offered by a university or any affiliated college.
PGDM - Post graduate diploma in management is a 2 year Diploma program in management offered by autonomous Institutes.
At the end of PGDM course, candidates are offered a Diploma. However, at the end of an MBA programmes, candidates receive a degree.
Both MBA and PGDM courses have common core subjects. However, most MBA courses focus more on theoretical and technical aspects of management while PGDM focuses more on industrial needs.

Whether or not you will get settled with it is a difficult question to answer, in UK anyway, it is tough because work permit rules are very strict now. To pursue MBA from IITs, you need to write CAT. For the private colleges, you need to appear for the specified entrance tests (if available) or else they would also accept based on scores in top exams like CAT, MAT, and XAT etc.
So, for private colleges you need to verify the admission procedures carefully.

The minimum eligibility requirement for both type of MBAs are:
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
- Diploma holders need to possess three-year work experience to pursue the program
- B-schools select students based on entrance exams that test the analytical, verbal and numerical abilities of students.

TANCET MBA 2018 Eligibility
Eligibility criteria for TANCET MBA 2018:
Candidates must have a recognised Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration and obtained at least 50% (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in it.
(a) 10+2+3 years pattern (or)
(b) 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern (or)
(c) BE/B.Tech/B.Arch/BPharm (or)
