Depends on whether you want to remain in the technical field or you want to opt for a managerial post. You should go for MBA if you want to continue with the managerial post and not so technical roles and vice versa.

Yes, you have to appear for an MBA entrance exam. In fact if you wish to take admission in any other college also, you have to attend MAT or CAT exam. Regarding IEM you need to give:
MAT entrance exam for PGDM.
CAT entrance exam for MBA.

CFP or CFA certification not only gives you help to get the job but give you knowledge and skills in respect of financial planning, portfolio management and understanding the market.
So, in campus placement, opportunities not only depend on this certificate but your academic record, internship, research, your positive attitude and career goals as well.
CFA takes you to more analyst job such as increment banker, risk analyst, etc. whereas MBA in finance will have lesser scope compared to a CFA. Still, you may do it to sharpen your presentation skills and to get more insight from business perspective.

The salary is same for both. In CA, it depends upon your work experience and in MBA, it depends upon your marks and college reputation.

Hi Dipali, if you get through a top university in USA then go abroad. Studying abroad gives a very good global experience but see that you are in one of the best universities. I will suggest MBA in India if it is either IIMs or ISB. Ofcourse, there are many good business schools here but if you are comparing with USA then you must raise the standards.
