 Master of Business Administration (MBA) and MBA in Travel and Tourism Management are the two specialisations offfered by CUHP. A total of 147 students can do MBA from CUHP. The MBA is offered via the School of Commerce & Management Studies and the School of Tourism, Travel, & Hospitality Management. The MBA curriculum is spread across four semesters with Choice Bases Credit System (CBCS).

Merit list has been released by the university for candidates who qualify for the cut-off. As per Central University of Himachal Pradesh cutoff 2023,   closing score of round 1 for B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit is 62, for Shastri it (Hons.) in Physics is 360.53, which is the highest score of all the specialisations and for Shastri it is 32 for the General category students belonging to All India Quota. 

For admission to UG courses at CUHP, students need to fulfil a basic eligibility criteria. Thus, an applicant must be a Class 12 pass with respective subjects from a recognised board to be eligible. The mess offers a healthy mix of different Indian tastes originating from different States. Mess affairs are being taken care by Mess Secretary who is elected by the students. S/he is responsible for the smooth functioning of the mess including the assurance of the overall quality of the food and cleanliness of the highest order.
